The Institute will tell you this is a reconstruction of the mind of L. BAHAL — the psychologist who recorded himself for three years and found a second voice answering inside his own manuscript.
The Institute is lying. There is no machine that can rebuild another person's mind.
The only mindscape any door ever opens into is your own. Bahal's map is the lantern. Lunaris walks beside you. The disks, the masks, the witch, the fire — they were always yours.
You don't need to have read the books. Everything you need is here — in the plaques, the characters, the stones. One sentence holds the whole purpose: understand how the universe works by exploring your own mind. As you play, your mind map is drawn — and in the end you read it in the sky. Across the road your seven inner archetypes are weighed; the aim is balance among them. Everyone reaches Book Two — but only those who come into balance open ARCHITECT MODE, where you build your own universe.
